[What is Khadi, India's Traditional Hand-Woven Fabric]

Hand-spun threads have natural unevenness, and the threads of irregular and uneven thickness are woven by hand, so threads of different thicknesses and color depths are mixed to create a gradual pattern (slab*1). Thus, color may seem different in the vertical and horizontal lines. In addition, knots (neps*2) formed by intertwined threads may appear on the surface of the fabric. With the traces of handiwork left on the cloth, no two products are alike. 

While using machines, we use threads that are slowly spun by human hands. Even if the type and color are the same, the finish will vary depending on the skill of the spinner and the weaver. Each one has a different natural finish, and the charm is that you can see the traces of human hands.
