The polyester plain weave cover is weaved in a cross pattern and has canvas-like thickness and coarseness to keep the cushion supportive when you use it.

Two types of fabrics are used: stretchy knit fabric and non-stretch fabric, so you can choose the comfort of sitting depending on how you place it. If you place it vertically, it spreads in a circular shape and sinks deeply into it, making it perfect for a nap. When placed on its side, it hugs you from the waist to your neck, keeping you in the right position, perfect for reading or watching TV.

The knitted fabric uses a fabric that does not stretch easily, even when used. The fabric is made of polyester with a heathered finish. The material is easy to care for. It has a brushed finish, so it feels good on the skin. It is a simple color that easily blends in with the room.

I bought two, one had a stain

"I also bought two cushions, which Muji claimed to have sent together, but I only received one, in a box that could not possibly fit two, that clearly had "QUANTITY: 1" printed on the side. Almost a month later I am still waiting for customer service to acknowledge that this is their mistake and credit me or send me a replacement. I have been a fan of Muji for decades, but I am giving up. The customer service here is SO BAD. I bought a bookshelf a couple months ago and after watching the order sit for weeks without progress, I fought customer service for more weeks before they finally canceled the order and gave me my money back. The cushion is nice, the cover is nice, if you can get it. And without stains."

"I had one 9 years ago and it becomes our favorite spot. I read books with my kid sitting on this couch. Unfortunately when we got out dog two years ago, he’s taken over. And one time he chewed the cover and the insert so badly that it was broken. I have wanted to buy a new one since then. I’m glad I did. We put it in my kid’s bedroom now. "I love all MUJI items I bought！！ But I haven’t had a chance to use the cover because the Rectangular Body Fit Beads Cushion-body that I ordered was not delivered with the Rectangular Body Khaki Cover. Can this substitute for an occasional sleep - bed?: Hello! While the Body Fit Cushion is perfect to rest against and sit on - depending on the size of the person and height you will not be able to comfortably lay fully on top of it. Therefore, we wouldn't recommend using this as a substitute for a bed.
