Holiday Return Policy: Online orders placed at from November 15th to December 31st, 2022 will have until January 31st, 2023 to return by mail or in-store at any MUJI location in U.S.A. No refunds or exchanges will be issued without the invoice/packing slip. We do not offer store credit.


Merchandise purchased online at can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. All returned merchandise must be in original packaging, unused with original tag.

Customers must notify our customer service at within 7 days of arrival if a package is found with missing merchandise, visible damages or defects for a full refund.


All refunds are processed to the original payment method used to place the order. The refund process can take 7-10 business days upon package arrival to our return department. Once processed you will receive an email notification about your return/exchange. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

The product must be unopened in original packaging, with the product tag attached and in resellable condition.

The products listed below, but not limited, are considered FINAL SALE and will not be eligible for return/exchange. Please refer to product page for final sale indication.

Final sale items:

  • Furniture (bed frames, mattresses, sofas, body fit cushions, etc.)
  • Soft Goods (bedding, duvets, blankets, towels, etc.)
  • Innerwear (bras, underwear, etc)
  • Food & Beverage
  • Embroidered or laser engraved items


An exchange is only eligible for certain merchandise. Merchandise can only be exchanged into different colors/sizes with the same price in the same style.

To exchange, mark EXCHANGE on the invoice included in the return package and the item(s) you would like to exchange to.

If an exchange is not eligible, a refund will be processed instead.

*Any non-MUJI product sent back to our return center will be disposed. MUJI is not liable to ship back/replace Non-MUJI items.


Customers can return their online order to a physical store under the following conditions:

  • Item is eligible under the Return Policy
  • Customer MUST bring a copy of the invoice

Refunds will NOT process directly within the store. The actual refund will be posted within 3-5 business days by our Refund Department.

Stores reserve the right to deny any return that does not meet the return requirements.
