Compact and structurally sound

"I'm very pleased with how compact the fully-folded umbrella is, but the flipside of that is that it doesn't give you a lot of coverage. This is convenient if you're in a city environment but not so much if you're out in the open. I've only had it for a few weeks but used it in some strong wind and it hasn't been blown inside-out so far. I am a little worried about how the locking mechanisms on the arms is going to wear over time; I'm still kind of nervous that I'm going to break the arms every time I snap them out of the extended position."

Flimsy and Useless Product from Muji

"I wish I could give it zero stars. I purchased this item on a lightly rainy day, but unfortunately, it failed to provide any assistance. Initially, it wouldn't even open fully, and I spent 2-3 minutes trying to figure out how to operate it. The product is extremely flimsy and utterly useless. I regret my purchase and would like to request a refund. This experience has led me to lose trust in Muji, and as a result, I will be discontinuing my shopping at their stores."

By far worst thing I've ever bought from Muji

"This is one of the worst umbrellas I've ever had. It looks decent enough and is built okay but the design is just incredibly stupid. You have to fold up each of the arms individually, rather than being automatic like every other umbrella does. This is super inconvenient and doesn't work very well. Also you'll get your hands wet and dirty from doing it."

"This is a terrible umbrella. It is so flimsy I feel like I am using a literal drink umbrella. At the slightest hint of wind it inverts and it breaks in 2. 5 seconds. The material is also not good. If you go to muji don't waste your money on this"

Feather light, portable, elegant

"Perfect for my travel suitcase and daytote if looking for lightweight elegant solution to occasional rain. Wouldn't say its fragile, but looks delicate. Packs better, looks better performs better than most US options. If you are in rainy conditions (lucky you!) you would need more sturdy every day wind proof prolly. This is perfect for "just in case needs" or you appreciate functional meets esthetic form. If Lo-Fi Girl was an umbrella this would be it. This is my second purchase."

Terrible umbrella

"This umbrella was terrible. I thought it would be fine because I’ve used my old one for a long time, but this umbrella completely snapped within one day of using. I compared it with my old umbrella and the material felt different and cheaper. Muji never disappointed me, but this time it did."
