Earthenware Clay Pot Rice Cooker 0.3 Qt

This beautiful clay pot is made of high-quality fire clay with a black amber glaze. The traditional Japanese donabe is perfect for cooking delicious clay pot rice with a crispy bottom crust over a gas flame. It can also be used for making udon, hot pot, stews, and steamed dishes. 

Fire clay is dense with excellent ventilation and heat retention, allowing this pot to distribute heat evenly and moderately. The thick lid is designed to increase pressure inside the cooker, fitting below the top edge of the pot to prevent spills if the contents boil over. As the texture of the clay is slightly rough, cooked rice won't stick to the walls when left inside, making it easy to clean.

Cooks approximately 1.5 cups of rice.
