    "It does indeed lay flat. :-) The paper is an 'easy on the eyes' cream color and takes fountain pen and gel ink very nicely with no bleeding and only the slightest bit of show-through. Lines have 6mm separation. Highly satisfied!"

    Nice paper, lays flat, doesn't bleed

    "I have multiple of these, and have pretty much converted to using them for everything and write in them everyday. They open flat fresh out of the wrap and provide a generally non-intrusive writing experience. Darker or inky-er pens are faintly visible on the reverse side, but there is no bleed. Every high-quality notebook seems to be dot-grid nowadays, so I appreciate such a nice lined notebook."
