Tsukisamu Matcha Anpan

Matcha is kneaded into both the dough and the white bean paste. It has a subtle bitterness that leaves a lasting taste, and a rich aroma that goes well with green tea or milk.  

The dough is firm and savory! The bean paste inside is also light and sweet, making it a crispy and easy-to-eat bean bun. It is a traditional sweet of Hokkaido.

Honma's Tsukisamu Anpan originated in 1874 in Tsukisamu Village. Honma strives to make high quality sweets through careful attention to its ingredients, flavor and traditional chewy mochi-like texture.
